When hosting at Lazy River, you have access to our entire estate, meaning you are able to utilise any part of our grounds and host an event that is unlike any other. From long-lunching in the picturesque vineyards, birthday parties on hippo beach to engagement celebrations on our well renowned deck, Lazy River is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. Enjoy sweeping views of the Estate and Macquarie River through floor to ceiling windows in our function centre, or host your next event on our exclusive hippo beach!

At Lazy River we take notice to the finer details and dedicate ourselves to ensuring your event is first class. Any celebration is better with the Lazy River touch! Our dining options are inspired by modern Australian cuisine and incorporate the best fresh, seasonal produce our area has to offer. Whilst celebrating at Lazy River you will be served by our trained and professional staff that along with our Event Planners, work tirelessly to ensure your day is a success.

Wakes & Funerals

During this difficult time, we are here to make it a little easier for you. Lazy River Estate provides exclusive and private use of our estate, including our function centre and deck area for you to celebrate the life of your loved one, in a stress free environment. With plenty of space and parking, Lazy River can cater, at short notice, for up to 250 guests. We are a venue that is both experienced and professional and are able to accommodate all the requirements of a wake, with required empathy.

We also have external catering options available, that can be delivered to your home, hall, church. Delivered ready to serve, leaving you with more time to say goodbye to your loved one.

Lazy River Estate is the ultimate venue to host your Christmas Party in Dubbo! Lazy River offers an incredible menu and impeccable service for both indoor and outdoor functions, adding a little Lux to Christmas!

Sit back and relax and you enjoy a well-earnt drink on your own private deck overlooking the majestic Macquarie River or enjoy gourmet foods on Hippo Beach whilst reminiscing on the year gone by. Whatever the setting, Lazy River is here to make it special! We cater for groups of all sizes and dedicate ourselves to ensuring you and your guests have a wonderful time!

This year we are putting together a number of packages to suit all types of parties, even if you can’t make it to our Estate! Lazy River are excited to be offering delivery packages so you can have a taste of Lazy River from wherever you are in the region!

Please note, due to high demand different areas of the estate may be utilised for smaller Christmas party groups one particular evenings; with different LRE teams for each function.
